Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AURA CHEER ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit aura-cheer.com or place an order with us, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Controller: AURA CHEER is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: [email protected]
1. What We Collect
When you use our order form or contact us, we may collect:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Billing address (address, city, zip, state, country)
- Team/program name, mascot, team colors, division, age group, level
- Music preferences, song requests, voiceover style requests, lyric requests
- Uploaded files (8-count sheets, routine videos or video links)
- Any other information you voluntarily include in the order form or in correspondence with us
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, racial/ethnic origin, religious beliefs). Please do not include such information in your order.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide to:
- Produce and deliver your custom cheer music mix
- Communicate with you about your order (confirmations, revision requests, delivery)
- Process payment and maintain records for accounting/tax purposes
- Respond to inquiries sent via email or the contact form
Legal basis: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (fulfilling your order) or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we retain records for tax/accounting purposes, this is based on our legal obligation.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:
- GoDaddy, whose built-in email routing delivers order form submissions to [email protected]
- PayPal and Revolut, used to process payment
GoDaddy relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (as a self-certified organization) together with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback safeguard for any data processed outside the EEA. PayPal relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for transfers involving the UK, the UK Addendum) as its safeguard for data processed outside the EEA/UK. These mechanisms ensure your data continues to receive GDPR-level protection even when processed outside the EEA.
We do not use these third parties for marketing purposes and do not share your data with any other party unless required by law.
4. Data Retention
We retain order-related personal data for up to 1 year after order completion, to allow for revisions, re-delivery requests, and to meet accounting/tax record-keeping obligations. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention period is legally required.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Croatia: AZOP - Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, azop.hr)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month as required by GDPR.
6. Cookies
Our website uses a cookie consent banner. We currently use only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function - no analytics or tracking cookies are used at this time.
